Come Enjoy the Taste of Wethersfield
The Annual Taste of Wethersfield will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2019, from 7-9 p.m. at the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center. Some of the best restaurants in the area will be there.
The list includes:
Ascot Catering, Carmela’s Pasta Shop, Lucky Lou’s Bar & Grill, Village Pizza, Old Wethersfield Country Store, ShopRite of East Hartford and Manchester, Vito's Restaurant, The Cove Deli, Carbone’s and River.
In addition to food sampling, there will be wine and beer and a silent auction.
General admission tickets are $30 if purchased before April 5th. For $55 you can purchase a patron ticket which allows you to come in a 6 p.m. and start your sampling early. $20 of that ticket is tax deductible.
Plan to attend this great fundraising event with family and friends. Attendees must be 21 years or older.

Hebron Maple Fest March 16-17, 2019
Maple Festival Weekend in Hebron is March 16-17, 2019. Events will be taking place Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can visit one or all of the three sugar houses in town and see how maple sugar is made. 50 vendors will be offering loads of things the whole family will enjoy.
Events include pancake breakfasts, a tractor parade, a family concert, quilt show and plenty of delicious food. You can also buy lots of maple products.

Greater New Haven St Patrick's Day Parade 2019
One of New England’s premier Irish events and the largest single-day spectator event in Connecticut, the Greater New Haven St. Patrick’s Day Parade, takes place on March 10, 2019. It showcases music and more than 3,000 marchers celebrating the diversity of many cultures. The parade begins at 1:30 p.m. on Chapel Street at Sherman Avenue.
The parade last about three hours and the route is 1.8 miles long.

The St. Patrick's Day Parade will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019, on Capitol Avenue near the State Capitol. It turns left on Main Street, a left on Asylum, a left on Ford Street and then ends by the Memorial Arch. It attracts a large crowd so plan to come early and stake out your spot to view the festivities.
For those who don't want to brave the cold and crowds, the parade will be broadcast live on CT Fox WTIC beginning at 11:30 a.m.
