OCTOBER 18th & 19, 2019  6:30PM-8:00PM (EVERY 15MIN.) OLD WETHERSFIELD LANTERN LIGHT TOURS

The Wethersfield Historical Society will be hosting the very popular Old Wethersfield Lantern Light Tours on Friday, October 18 and Saturday, October 19, 2019 in Old Wethersfield. Hour-long tours begin at 6:30pm and will leave every 15 minutes until 8 pm. Timed tickets are sold prior to the event, with remaining tickets at the door; however, tickets sell out early and group sizes are limited, so it is recommended that tickets be purchased in advance.

Beginning September 19, tickets can be purchased at the Old Academy (150 Main Street) Tuesday-Friday 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. or on the society’s website, www.wethersfieldhistory.org. Tours are appropriate for ages 13 and up. Tickets are $20 per person. Rain date is Sunday, October 20.

In honor of the 10th Anniversary, all the historical figures on this year’s program have been drawn from Lantern Light Tours past, although this particular collection of characters (and the actors portraying them) have never appeared together before. They have been chosen by Wethersfield Historical Society based on their anecdotal popularity with audiences over the past decade. The evening begins and ends at the Keeney Memorial Cultural Center at 200 Main Street, Wethersfield, CT 06109 with hot cider and cookies.
