It's Apple Harvest Festival time again in Glastonbury, Friday, October 18 to Sunday, October 20 at Riverfront Park. Shuttle buses will take you from parking at the High School to the park where all the events are.
Festivities begin on Friday evening at 6 p.m. and continue until 10 p.m. Saturday hours are 10-10 and Sunday 10-5.
Three stages will be set up to provide space for the 40 bands who will be performing. During the day there will be more than 100 vendors at Vendor Village. 25 food trucks will offer lots of dining options.
Amusement rides will be offered from kiddie to thrill rides and fireworks will light up the sky on Saturday night.
Of course, apples will be featured in loads of ways and competitions.
Come and enjoy the family fun of this traditional harvest festival.
It's all Nutmeg State 24/7. From the Connecticut shore to the streets of Hartford, come along as I visit it all.
