On December 3 beginning at 6:30 p.m., Zion Lutheran Church will host a Goods and Services Holiday Auction.
Both a live auction and a silent auction will feature a wide range of items, including an African trip, a boat cruise, a classic car ride, antiques, professional landscape design services, artwork, and theme baskets.
There will be certificates to restaurants, golf, sporting events, theater, and local businesses. In addition, jewelry, baked goods, and Christmas wreaths will be offered for sale, and there will also be a 50-50 raffle. Refreshments will be available.
Joe Engel of Thomas Barrows & Sons Auctioneers will be the auctioneer. Doors open at 6 p.m. and admission is $5.
Credit Cards, cash and checks will be accepted.
Zion's auction is a major fundraising event that will help to grow its ministry, provide enriching education and musical programs for its members as well as the greater community, maintain its facilities, and make it possible to offer outreach programs to others. Zion's church facility is used by organizations including the Boy Scouts of America, Alcoholics Anonymous, New England Chamber Choir, and Sunny Hill Preschool.
