July at the Nathan Hale Homestead

Colonial Camp

$200; $175 CTL Members.

Mon. – Fri., July 23 – 27, 10 am – 3 pm

Travel back to the 18th century for a week of summer fun. Campers will learn about 18th-century life through hands-on activities each day & make crafts to take home at the end of the week. Campers will learn to spin wool, embroider, write with quill pens, learn 18th-century games, dip candles, make homemade ice cream & so much more! Recommended for children ages 8-12. Hale at the Homestead: Revolutionary War Encampment

Suggested donation of $5.

Sat., July 28, 11 am – 4 pm

Visitors will learn about the daily life of soldiers at this Revolutionary War military encampment. Witness tactical demonstrations, craft demonstrations, children’s activities, meals cooked over a camp fire & more. Hosted by the Nathan Hale Ancient Fife & Drum Corps.


Musical Muster

Free, donations welcome.

Sun., July 29, 12 pm

Over a dozen Fife & Drum Corps from Southern New England will attend this muster & present a parade featuring an assortment of fifes & wooden rope tension snare & bass drums. Hosted by the Nathan Hale Ancient Fife & Drum Corps.
