Plan B Glastonbury should have been Plan Z

Yesterday, after getting a massage in Harwinton, we decided to meet up with John and Jack in Glastonbury. Did I forget to mention that Kasey was with Al and me? We have eaten at Plan B many times and usually are quite satisfied. This time was an exception.

The Good:
We were seated quickly and got a bowl of very delicious homemade pickles. This is something new and we loved it. We got our drinks quite quickly.

The Bad:
It was the food and service that turned out to be the bad. My salad was good, I love their light lemon dressing. But my lobster sliders were so lacking in butter or even butter taste as to be dry!! Who wants a dry lobster roll? Not me. Kasey's was exactly the same as mine. The fresh cut fries are not fresh cut onsite, the texture says frozen fries.

Jack's chicken tenders were totally tasteless, how can crispy chicken coating be so tasteless? Al ordered the mac and jack and it is something he has had many times, it was good as usual but so salty that he complained and he loves salt.

The worst was the service. You should never have to sit for 10 minutes with a bill trying to get your waitress to take your payment. It also took way too long to get the bill and the leftovers packed up.

The only words I can use for this visit are disappointing. When you are paying $68 for lunch, you expect to have good food and good service. We got neither. It will be a while before we will visit here again.
