The 84th Annual Dogwood Festival will take place May 10-May 12, 2019 which is Mother's Day Weekend. It has been hosted by the Greenfield Hill Church there will be fun for the entire family. Most of all there will be a glorious display of dogwoods which have impressed even someone as cosmopolitan as Eleanor Roosevelt.
Music will be provided all weekend long. On the grounds of the festival you may encounter the Angry O'Haras and their Irish music, in the Church Sanctuary a variety of different groups will perform.
The Dogwood Craft Show is a major attraction and artists and craftsmen from all over New England will be selling their wares. If you have some favorites, they will probably be here with some new vendors as well.
Check out Kate's Corner where you never know what treasures you will find. Kate's Clothes has gently used women's and children apparel at guilt-free prices.
Stop by the plant tent for the Garden Boutique with perennials, herbs and hanging baskets.
On Friday and Saturday, there will be fun and games for the kids.
For a delicious luncheon stop by Blossoms Cafe and enjoy the live music with your food.
Walking tours of the Greenfield Hill neighborhood will be offered by church historians, many homes in the area date back to before the Revolutionary War.
Food will also be offered under the tent. Also under the tent, there will be a huge bake sale hosted by the 8th-grade Confirmation class.
